Christmas is just around the corner, but don’t worry—I’m here to relieve some of that festive stress.
If you’re like me, thinking of gift ideas can take up so much time and energy. If someone just gave me a list of what to buy, I’d be sorted!
I’ve put together a list of 12 gift ideas for your family members, friends, or even your Secret Santa colleague at work who loves to travel.
These are all things I use or would love to be gifted as a keen traveler. I’ve also included some budget-friendly options if that’s something you need to consider as well!
GetYourGuide Gift Cards
For my birthday this year, my family got me some gift vouchers for GetYourGuide, and it was such an amazing idea. Anytime I go traveling, I love to do tours, and GetYourGuide is a great platform for booking them. I’ve done so many tours with them, and they’ve always been great fun!

Passport Case
A passport case is a perfect little present for someone who travels a lot. Not only does it look fresh and aesthetic, but it also protects your passport from getting damaged—which could be costly to replace.
Personalised Luggage Tags
I really like the idea of gifting (or being gifted) personalized luggage tags. They’re essential if your luggage ever goes missing and also great for spotting your suitcase quickly at baggage claim. A personalized tag adds a thoughtful touch to the gift and feels extra special.

Tiny Photo Album
When I had my leaving party before traveling, my friends gifted me a small, travel-sized photo album filled with pictures of us together. It was such a lovely gift, as I could clip it to my bag and look at the photos anytime I missed them.

Suitcase
This one might be for those with a higher budget, but a suitcase (or travel backpack) can be an amazing gift for someone who loves to travel. Suitcases get worn out quickly, so a fresh, new one is always appreciated.
Travel Journal
When I travel, I like to journal every day so that, years later, I can look back at all the amazing times I had. A travel journal is a thoughtful and fun gift idea for someone who likes to document their adventures.

Travel Backpack
A good travel backpack is essential for airports or day trips. It’s much easier to carry than a large handbag and a great gift idea for anyone who loves exploring. Look for a size that offers good support and plenty of compartments!
Toiletry Bag
A toiletry bag is always a great option, and you can find super cute ones. A hanging toiletry bag is especially handy for people who stay in hostels, as it keeps everything organized and easy to access.
Headphones
This might be on the pricier side, but a good pair of headphones makes a fantastic gift. Noise-canceling options like Apple AirPods or brands like JBL are great for traveling.
Loop Earplugs
I use Loop earplugs all the time, and they’re amazing! They have options for sleep, concerts, or noisy environments. They’re a great stocking filler, and you can choose between simple designs or fancier ones like gold.
Disposable Camera
Taking a disposable camera while traveling is perfect for capturing special moments and beautiful sights. The aesthetic of the photos is unmatched, and it’s a fun way to create lasting memories.

Scratch-Off World Map
A world map scratch-off poster is a creative gift idea for keeping track of the countries you’ve visited—or want to visit. It’s a fun and interactive way to showcase your travel adventures!
I hope this list helps and that you find some gift inspiration here. Happy Christmas! 🎄
